A postdoctoral position is available in Braden Brinkman's group in the
Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University, located
on Long Island in New York State.

The Brinkman group studies mathematical models of sensory coding and
collective network dynamics, with a focus on how environmental and
physiological constraints shape coding and computation in the brain. For
more information on our work and the department, please visit the PI's
website <https://www.sites.google.com/site/bradenbrinkman/> and the Stony
Brook Neurobiology and Behavior homepage
<https://renaissance.stonybrookmedicine.edu/neurobiology>.

Candidates must have a strong background in quantitative methods;

interest in the field of theoretical/computational neuroscience or
mathematical biology.
4. 2 reference letters from senior scientists familiar with the candidate's
