I am recruiting computational postdoctoral fellows to my lab at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, NY. I will be at Cosyne workshops on March 3-5, and I would be happy to meet with interested candidates to provide more information about our work and answer questions. Please feel free to e-mail me with informal inquiries. The position description is included below.
Postdoctoral position in Computational Neuroscience, Engel Lab, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, NY
The Engel lab in the Department of Neuroscience at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory invites applications from highly motivated candidates for a postdoctoral position working on the cutting-edge research in computational neuroscience. We are looking for theoretical/computational scientists to work at the exciting interface of systems neuroscience, machine learning, and statistical physics, in close collaboration with experimentalists. The postdoctoral scientist is expected to exhibit resourcefulness and independence, developing computational models of large-scale neural activity recordings with the goal to elucidate neural circuit mechanisms underlying cognitive functions.
The candidates should e-mail their application to Tatiana Engel (engel at cshl.edu<mailto:engel at cshl.edu> ) as a single pdf file with subject: Postdoc Application. The application file should include: (1) CV with the publication list, (2) a brief description of research interests, (3) contact information for three references.
