Applications are sought for a 2-year post-doctoral researcher, to be 
based at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany), working 
at the Faculty of Psychology with Dr.Bahador Bahrami

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary project 
involving Bahador Bahrami (UCL/LMU), Ophelia Deroy (LMU), Chris D. Frith 
(University of London) and Peter Latham (Gatsby Computational 
Neuroscience Unit, UCL) aiming to examine the cognitive and 
computational bases of collective decisions under uncertainty.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have
(i) a strong background in quantitative methods (computational 
neuroscience, statistics, physics, machine learning)
(ii) interest in interdisciplinary projects
(iii) a PhD in physics (eg complex systems), psychology (cognitive or 
social), behavioural economics or neuroscience (behavioural, systems).
Knowledge of experimental design, statistics and data analysis is 
expected. Strong command of linear algebra, probability theory, computer 
programming (web- based platforms (e.g. Java) and/or Python, Matlab) is 
highly desirable.

The position is for two years,with an intermediate evaluation for 
satisfactory performance. The appointment will be made within the German 
TV-L E 13 salary scheme.
