A postdoc position at the intersection of Computational Neuroscience, 
Machine Learning, and Computer Vision is available with the group of 
Christopher Rozell at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA). 
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who enjoys 
working in an exciting interdisciplinary research environment. The 
research project centers around modeling the visual perception of 
objects undergoing attribute changes. Applicants should hold a PhD in a 
related discipline with a strong research record. Experience in areas 
such as modeling of visual perception, manifold learning, and general 
computer vision are all positives.

The position has significant flexibility and the lab is committed to the 
professional development of the members, making it valuable preparation 
for people who are interested in academic, industrial or entrepreneurial 
careers. The position has no mandatory teaching or administrative 
duties, but the successful candidate will take an active role in 
mentoring students and further developing the research program. 
Excellent (written and oral) communication skills in English, strong 
coding skills, and ability to work on an interdisciplinary team are all 
required. The start date is flexible but ideally would be as soon as 
possible. The position is initially for 12 months with the possibility 
of renewal. Compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience.
