A funded PhD position "Reverse-engineering invertebrate neural circuits" is
available in the group of Timothy O'Leary, University of Cambridge.

Start date: October 2017, *application deadline: January 31, 2017*.
Eligibility: *UK and EU students*.

The project is a collaboration with a leading experimental lab (Marta
Zlatic, HHMI), studying the neural circuits underlying behavioural
variability in Drosophila. The project aims to uncover circuit principles
of action selection using a combination of theory, computational modeling
and cutting-edge experiments. Applicants should have strong skills in
mathematics, programming and data analysis, and a desire to develop
cutting-edge experimental techniques.
