Dear all,

I'm happy to announce that registration is open for the week-long series of Symposia on Memory at the 
Centre de Recerca Matemàtica  from 6-10 of March, 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.  These symposia bring 
together experimental and theoretical researchers in the neuroscience of memory to present and 
discuss work on topics such as: sleep, hippocampal function, the molecular basis of memory, synaptic 
plasticity, spatial learning, human memory, and more.  The full list of invited speakers as well as a partial 
list of abstracts for the invited talks is on the website.  A detailed schedule is forthcoming.  As a registered 
participant you can submit an abstract for a contributed talk or a poster.  For more information and to register see 


The symposia are part of the Intensive Research Program (IRP) on the Mathematics of Memory at the 
Centre de Recerca Matemàtica in Bellaterra (Barcelona), Spain.  The program kick-off is a week-long 
winter school on the mathematics of memory, the Memory School, from the 16th to the 20th of January, 
2017.  A preliminary course schedule is available on the website.  As a registered participant at the school 
you can submit an abstract to present a poster.  Registration is open!
