The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent
University seeks highly qualified applicants for full-time faculty

MRI capabilities; 1.5 Tesla whole-body and 7 Tesla small animal MRI systems
are also planned. In addition, small-animal and zebra fish facilities will
be formed as an extension of the existing animal facilities of the
Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. A psychophysics lab, wet-labs
for neurobiology and neuroimmunology will be established. This facility
will be home for the interdisciplinary Neuroscience M.S. and Ph.D.
programs. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering already
has five faculty members affiliated with the Center and seeks to expand its
presence in this area by recruiting new faculty who will complement and
enhance the collaborative interdisciplinary research environment at the
Center. The Center will provide extensive opportunities for collaboration
with the Bilkent Departments of Psychology and Molecular Biology and
Genetics, as well as The National Magnetic Resonance Research Center
(UMRAM) and The Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (UNAM).
