[Comp-neuro] PostDoc position at the Institut für Theoretische Physik (TU Berlin)

We invite applications for a postdoctoral position with our group,
starting on 1 January 2013 for one year.

The position is within the Collaborative Research Center SFB 910
"Control of self-organizing nonlinear systems: Theoretical methods and
concepts of application" in project B7: "Controlling neural wave
dynamics by nonlocal and time-delayed feedback".

The research focusses on theoretical investigations and computer
simulations of reaction-diffusion based nonlinear excitation waves and
their control by spatially nonlocal or time-delayed feedback, and
neuronal applications.

The applicant is supposed to have a PhD in theoretical physics, and
should have an excellent background and experience in nonlinear
dynamics and control, in particular in computer simulations of partial
differential equations and delay differential equations, and neuronal
dynamics.
