A full time POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available at the Section of Systems
Neuroscience, Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Technische
Universität Dresden, Germany.

Our multidisciplinary group connects basic research in neuroscience to
clinically applied research. In order to better understand the neural
mechanisms underlying mental disorders such as addiction or depression, we
investigate the function of neural systems that are essential for emotion,
motivation, executive function or decision making. Within the Technische
Universität Dresden, the Section of Systems Neuroscience is closely
associated with the Department of Psychology and the Neuroimaging Center,
which offers excellent research collaborations and infrastructure, e.g. a 3
Tesla MRI scanner for full-time research, MRI-compatible EEG, and access to
the PET center at Dresden-Rossendorf.

Imaging (fMRI, pharmacological MRI): Implementation of fMRI paradigms to
investigate emotional, motivational and executive functions, analysis of MR
data as well as the development of methods in the field of pharmacological
MR imaging. Project management including supervising of PhD students, data
management, publications of the results are a substantial part as well. This
