Dear All,

a 3-year studentship is available to work with Prof. Hugh Piggins, Dr Marcelo Montemurro, and Prof David Broomhead on 'Synaptic communication in the brain's daily clock'. The 3-year studentship will provide full support for tuition fees, an annual tax-free stipend of £13,590 and cover all research expenses. This project is available to UK/EU nationals only due to the nature of the funding and is due to start October 2011.

The project is highly interdisciplinary and involves both experimental and computational / theoretical work. The precise balance between the different types of approach will be defined according to he the student's background and interests.
