The EPFL, a top ranked university in the technical sciences,
has a dynamic and strong life sciences department which hosts the Brain
Mind Institue.
The EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne)
is located in Lausanne, in the center of Europe, on
the shores of the lake of Geneva in Switzerland.

The master program track in neurosciences
accepts applications of students with a strong *quantitative* background,
in particular, students with a
*bachelor in Physics, Biophysics, Biomedical engineering,
Signal Processing, Bioinformatics or Theoretical Biology* and related
disciplines
are welcome to apply
