I would like to remind those of you who are interested in biologically 
realistic network modeling that you can attend a course on modeling 
networks using parallel computers or multicore processors without leaving 
your computer.

Please take a look at http://genesis-sim.org/GENESIS/UGTD/ for a self-paced 
course on biologically realistic modeling in general, and creating 
simulations with GENESIS in particular.  The GENESIS Modeling Tutorial
"Converting large network simulations to PGENESIS" may be of interest.
