Reminder: EMMDS 2009 early registration deadline 1 May

The 1 May deadline for early registration for EMMDS 2009 (European
Workshop on Challenges in Modern Massive Data Sets) is approaching. As you
will be responsible for your own travel and hotel arrangements we
recommend early booking to obtain the best rates. Do note that early
registration is advisable as the number of places is limited. If you
believe the meeting may be of interest to your colleagues please forward

Scope:
The 2009 European Workshop on Challenges in Modern Massive Data Sets
(EMMDS 2009) will address algorithmic, mathematical, and statistical
challenges in modern statistical data analysis. The goals of EMMDS 2009
are to explore novel techniques for modeling and analyzing massive,
high-dimensional, and nonlinearly-structured scientific and internet data
sets, and to bring together computer scientists, statisticians,
mathematicians, and data analysis practitioners to promote
cross-fertilization of ideas.
