Postdoctoral Position in Image Processing / Computational Neuroscience

The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Complex Systems and 
Department of Physics at Northeastern University, Boston, MA, invite 
applicants for a postdoctoral position in Image Processing / Computational 
Neuroscience to begin in the spring of 2009. Successful candidate will 
work on an NIH sponsored project to develop algorithms for automated 
reconstruction of neurons from confocal microscopy images. Applicants 
should have a Ph.D. in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, 
computer science or a related quantitative discipline. Proven record of 
experience in image processing and strong computational and programming 
skills are required. Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning is 
preferred. Competitive salary will be based on qualifications. The initial 
appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal on yearly
