Title: Postdoctoral fellowship in decision-making: Dept of physiology, University of Montréal.

The department of physiology at the University of Montréal invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in neurophysiological and computational studies of decision-making and voluntary behavior control. The successful applicant will possess a PhD in neuroscience or related field. Experience with neurophysiological techniques or computational modeling is highly desirable. This individual will take part in a research project studying the cerebral cortical mechanisms of decision-making in humans and non-human primates using a combination of computational modeling techniques and multi-electrode recording, 3T functional MRI, and/or transcranial magnetic stimulation. Depending on the applicant's qualifications and interests, they will help to design and conduct behavioral and neurophysiological experiments, analyze data, develop theoretical models of neural systems, prepare manuscripts for publication, and participate in international conferences.

Starting date of the appointment is flexible, and salary will be determined according to Canadian Institutes of Health Research guidelines. For further information, please contact Dr. Paul Cisek (paul.cisek at umontreal.ca). Applicants are asked to submit a curriculum vita, a statement of research interests, and the names and contact information of three references, to:
