A postdoctoral position in visual neuroscience (2-3 years) is available in
the laboratory of Adam Kohn in the Department of Neuroscience at the
Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

Research in the laboratory is focused on: (1) plasticity induced by recent
visual experience (adaptation); (2) population coding of sensory
information; and (3) understanding the transformations and computations
that occur as visual information passes through the visual hierarchy. The
lab uses a range of techniques including multielectrode recordings in
primates, computational modeling, psychophysics and fMRI. The ideal
candidate would have experience with neurophysiological recording and a
strong background in computational modeling.

The department hosts a strong community of cellular and molecular
neuroscientists, with a growing systems and computational contingent.
Information about the department can be found at:

AECOM is located in a quiet neighborhood of New York, only a short subway
ride from Manhattan. Information about working at the AECOM, including
